SwissCham North Macedonia offers several membership categories, matched to the size, profile and legal status of companies and organisations. The annual fee is set by the applicable category.
Full membership
Full membership is open to companies and other legal entities registered in the Republic of North Macedonia or in Switzerland that:
- have been actively trading for at least one year;
- carry on a lawful business activity;
- are not in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings;
- are not subject to a ban on carrying on business;
- operate in accordance with applicable regulations and the Code of Honour of SwissCham North Macedonia.
Full members are entitled to take part in the Chamber’s work and activities, to vote in accordance with the Statute and to be elected to its governing bodies.

Associate membership
Associate membership carries substantially the same opportunities, rights and obligations as full membership, except the right to vote and the right to be elected to the Chamber’s governing bodies.
Associate members may attend meetings of the Chamber’s bodies, take part in discussions and submit proposals.

Calculating and paying the fee
All fees are invoiced in denar at the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia on the date of the invoice. VAT of 18% is added, in accordance with applicable law.
The annual fee for full members is set by company size, based on the turnover achieved in the last financial year as reported to the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia.
For companies joining the Chamber during the calendar year, the fee is calculated pro rata for the months remaining until the end of the year, starting from the first day of the month following the month in which membership was approved.
